Short answer: yes, you can buy from Pinduoduo (拼多多) in Singapore, but there’s no Singapore website. You order in the Chinese-language app, then either use Pinduoduo’s own delivery to Singapore where the item offers it, or ship through a forwarder. The sticker price is cheap; the final SGD total is what counts, lah.
Last checked: 7 November 2026 (SGT). Pinduoduo changes its Singapore terms often, so your checkout screen beats any guide, including this one.
Before You Start
- Get the official app. Download it from the App Store (Singapore) or Pinduoduo’s own download page (in Chinese). Skip APKs from random sites.
- Expect Chinese and RMB. Listings, chat and support are in Simplified Chinese, and prices are in RMB (¥). Your phone’s camera translate feature helps a lot.
- Sign-up. Dollars and Sense reports you can register with a Singapore (+65) mobile number or WeChat.
- Know your exchange rate. Your bank or card sets the RMB-to-SGD rate and may add a foreign-currency fee. Check your card’s terms.
Step By Step: Two Ways To Buy
Pinduoduo Ships It To You
- Set your delivery address to Singapore in the app.
- Find the item and open the listing. Check that it can be delivered to Singapore and whether the shipping fee shows as free (包邮) for your address.
- Read the reviews, sales count and shop rating.
- Check the checkout breakdown: item price, shipping, any tax line, and the total.
- Pay with PayNow or a card.
- Track the parcel in the app. Zaobao’s test found about two weeks from China to the door.
Not every listing ships to Singapore. If it doesn’t show for your address, use Route B.
Ship To A China Warehouse First
- Sign up with a forwarder. Using ezbuy’s ezShip guide as the example: copy your China warehouse address.
- Buy on Pinduoduo using that warehouse address as the delivery address.
- Submit the seller’s tracking number to the forwarder.
- Once the parcel reaches the warehouse, declare its value and choose air or sea shipping plus your Singapore delivery option.
- Pay the forwarder’s shipping fee and wait for delivery.
Other forwarders Singaporeans use include Taobao2sg, M&P, vPost and Oops (Dollars and Sense). Compare their own published rates; we only quote ezbuy’s official page.
Total-Cost Maths (Worked Example)
Here’s how to price a forwarder order before you pay. Everything marked Example is an illustration, not a real listing or quote. Swap in your own numbers.
Item: a set of fabric storage boxes listed at ¥60, about 1.2kg packed. Exchange rate: ¥1 = S$0.19 (example only; use your card’s rate).
| Cost Line | Route A: Direct (If Offered) | Route B: ezShip Economy Air |
|---|---|---|
| Item price (¥60 × 0.19) | S$11.40 | S$11.40 |
| Seller’s China delivery to the warehouse (example ¥5) | n/a | S$0.95 |
| Shipping to Singapore | S$0.00 if the listing shows free shipping | S$8.97 3 × S$2.99 per 500g, if 1.2kg is billed as 1.5kg (example) |
| GST at 9% | S$1.03 if charged at checkout | S$1.92 9% × S$21.32 if the forwarder is GST-registered |
| Example total | S$11.40–S$12.43 | S$23.24 |
Rate source: ezbuy ezShip shipping rates, Economy Air S$2.99 per 500g with no base charge, 4–8 working days (checked 7 November 2026). How weight is rounded, and any home-delivery or collection fee, were not confirmed, so check ezbuy’s calculator for your parcel.
The takeaway: in this example the forwarder route roughly doubles the price. If Temu Singapore, Shopee or Lazada sells the same boxes for less than your Route B total, delivered, buy locally and save the wait. Forwarders make more sense for heavy or bulky orders: ezShip’s sea rate from Guangzhou is S$0.90 per 500g up to 30kg, so a 10kg example order works out to S$18 by sea against S$59.80 by economy air, before GST and delivery.
GST Explainer
Under IRAS’s rules on imported low-value goods, you pay 9% GST at the point of purchase when the goods:
- are worth S$400 or less,
- come into Singapore by air or post, and
- are bought from a GST-registered supplier (overseas sellers and marketplaces register under the Overseas Vendor Registration regime).
Using a forwarder? IRAS says a GST-registered redeliverer charges GST on the item’s value plus its own shipping and admin fees. IRAS’s own example: S$300 sneakers plus S$15 fees comes to S$28.35 GST.
Other cases: goods over S$400 by air or post, and goods by sea or land at any value, generally have GST collected at import through your courier or SingPost. If the supplier isn’t GST-registered and the order is S$400 or less, no GST is due unless the cost, insurance and freight total is over S$400.
We couldn’t confirm whether Pinduoduo charges Singapore GST on direct-ship orders. Look for a tax line in your checkout breakdown. More from Singapore Customs: Buying From Overseas.
Pinduoduo vs Temu vs Taobao
Same item type (small home storage), three China-linked platforms. What differs is the buying experience, so compare the final delivered SGD price in each app on the same day.
| Pinduoduo | Temu Singapore | Taobao | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore store | No; China app, used from Singapore | Yes, temu.com/sg | Ships to Singapore through Taobao’s overseas service |
| Language and currency | Chinese, RMB | English, SGD | English interface launched in Singapore; prices in RMB with conversion |
| Free shipping to Singapore | From one item where offered (Zaobao, Aug 2026) | Check the threshold shown in your cart | Qualifying items from ¥199 (Taobao) |
| Returns | Singapore return route not confirmed; ask the shop before you buy | Check Temu’s policy in the app | Local returns on qualifying items in Singapore (Taobao) |
| Best for | Cheap single items if you’re OK with Chinese | Easy English checkout in SGD | Bigger carts that clear ¥199 |
Temu is Pinduoduo’s sister platform, launched by the same group in 2022 (Zaobao), but the two have separate prices and offers. Checked 7 November 2026.
Is There A Pinduoduo 11.11?
In China, yes. The Economic Observer reported on 7 November 2026 that Pinduoduo’s Double 11 runs 15 October to 30 November (end date marked tentative), with price protection over the same period and 10–11 November the heaviest subsidy days of the year. It’s a China-market campaign, and we couldn’t confirm that the same prices, coupons or price protection apply to Singapore orders. Check the price in your own app before you chiong.
Safety Tips
- Read the shop, not just the price. Check sales counts, reviews with photos and the shop rating. A Singapore shopper told Zaobao this is how she avoids trouble on higher-priced items.
- Branded goods at crazy prices? Assume they may not be genuine. For branded items, official stores such as LazMall or the brand’s own site are safer.
- Returns are harder across borders. Screenshot the listing and keep chat records. Ask the seller how returns work for Singapore before you buy anything expensive.
- Some goods can’t come in. Check Singapore Customs’ controlled and prohibited goods before ordering things like e-vaporisers, medicines or telecoms gear.
- Plan for the wait. Around two weeks on direct shipping, and longer through a forwarder. Not ideal for birthday gifts due next week.
- Pay inside the app. Never pay a seller by bank transfer or a link sent in chat.
FAQ
Does Pinduoduo deliver to Singapore?
For many items, yes. Zaobao reported in August 2026 that Pinduoduo delivers to Singapore with free shipping from a single item where offered. Items that don’t show Singapore delivery can go through a forwarder.
Is Pinduoduo the same as Temu?
They belong to the same group, but they are separate apps with separate prices, sellers and terms. Temu has a Singapore store in English and SGD; Pinduoduo is the China app.
Can I pay with PayNow?
Zaobao’s test found PayNow, credit cards and debit cards worked. Your card may add a foreign-currency fee.
Do I pay GST on Pinduoduo orders?
Possibly. GST at 9% applies to imported low-value goods from GST-registered suppliers, and GST-registered forwarders charge it on the item plus their fees. Check your checkout and forwarder invoice. See the GST explainer.
Is the app in English?
No, it’s in Chinese. Use your phone’s translate feature, or try Temu or Taobao’s English interface if that’s a deal-breaker.
Which forwarder is cheapest?
It depends on weight, speed and delivery option. ezbuy publishes China economy air at S$2.99 per 500g and sea at S$0.90 per 500g (up to 30kg). Compare other forwarders’ own rate pages for your parcel.
